IPD 997.1 Carrera Competition 82mm plenum for Porsche 911 Carrera Base 3.6L and Carrera S 3.8L (2005–2008), SKU IPD-97182. This Competition configuration upgrades the factory 74mm throttle-body interface to a compatible Genuine Porsche 997 GT3 82mm throttle body, sold separately.

- IPD silicone inlet hose designed for the factory Porsche airbox and 82mm throttle body
- Required extra purchase: GT3 82mm throttle body, TB0082, unless already equipped with a verified compatible unit
- Confirm gaskets, clamps, mounting hardware and application details before installation
Running an aftermarket intake instead of the factory airbox? Choose IPD-97182-RH, the Competition version with a straight reducer hose for compatible aftermarket intake systems.
Fitment and installation notes
Do not confuse this 997.1 Carrera unit with 997.1 Turbo, GT3, or 997.2 DFI plenums. Fitment depends on model, engine, original airbox and throttle-body hardware; X51 or other special engine packages require additional verification. The manufacturer recommends a qualified Porsche installer. Power gains are vehicle- and modification-dependent.
