Introducing Tomioka Racing’s turbocharger upgrade for the BMW N55 engine featuring Electronic Waste Gates (EWG). TR’s turbo offers a billet compressor wheel in 6+6 configuration and a larger wheel compared to the factory turbo. The increase in diameter is further matched with larger porting of the interior of the factory-sized compressor housing. It looks like a factory turbo, but contains a larger 72mm compressor wheel and longer 35mm wheel-blade to improve airflow and extract more power from the N55 motor, achieving more efficient boost. No Core exchange is required. This is a 100% bolt-on balanced replacement turbo with improved performance over the stock unit.
Note that this turbo only fits vehicle model with Electronic Waste Gate (EWG).
