The OMNI Power 4 Bar MAP Sensor (OMNI-MAP-STI15-4BR) provides manifold pressure data for compatible Subaru WRX STI and 2006-2007 WRX engine-management setups. This listing is for the red 4 bar sensor revision, which requires its own ECU calibration.

The WRX STI application is distinct from the non-STI WRX. This listing does not establish fitment for 2015+ non-STI WRX or 2022+ WRX models. The non-STI WRX application here is limited to 2006-2007; confirm a sensor-specific application before ordering for other WRX model years.
Manifold pressure measurement for your Subaru tune
A MAP sensor measures intake manifold pressure so a compatible ECU can use the signal when calculating fuel delivery and ignition timing. OMNI Power's silicon pressure element provides a linear 0-5V signal with automatic temperature compensation.
The 4 bar rating measures absolute pressure, including atmospheric pressure. At standard sea-level atmospheric pressure, 4 bar absolute corresponds to approximately 43.3 psi above atmosphere. This is a measurement range; your tuner must configure the ECU for the exact sensor installed.

Installation and ECU calibration
ECU calibration is required. Physical installation alone does not configure the ECU for the 4 bar pressure range. Confirm your ECU or tuning solution supports custom MAP sensor scaling.
For the red MAP-STI15-4BR sensor, COBB's published reference in standard psi units lists a multiplier of 12.931 psi and an offset of -2.905 psi. Confirm the exact sensor revision and current calibration with your tuner before applying these values. Other pressure ratings and the earlier black 4 bar sensor use different scaling.
