Manifold pressure measurement for your Subaru tune
A MAP sensor measures intake manifold pressure so a compatible ECU can use its signal when calculating fuel delivery and ignition timing. OMNI Power's silicon pressure element provides a linear 0-5V pressure signal with automatic temperature compensation.
The 3 bar rating measures absolute pressure, including atmospheric pressure. At standard sea-level atmospheric pressure, 3 bar absolute corresponds to approximately 28.8 psi above atmosphere. The sensor rating is a measurement range; your tuner must configure the ECU for the exact sensor installed.

Installation and ECU calibration
ECU calibration is required. Confirm your ECU or tuning solution supports custom MAP sensor scaling and obtain calibration for the exact 3 bar sensor revision. Do not reuse 4 bar sensor settings. Physical installation alone does not configure the ECU for a different pressure range.
