Manifold pressure measurement for boosted engines
A MAP sensor measures intake manifold pressure so a compatible ECU can use the signal when calculating fuel delivery and ignition timing. This OMNI Power sensor uses a silicon pressure element, linear 0-5V output and automatic temperature compensation to provide pressure information across changing operating conditions.
The 4 bar rating measures absolute pressure, which includes atmospheric pressure. At standard sea-level atmospheric pressure, 4 bar absolute corresponds to approximately 43.3 psi above atmosphere. Your ECU must be configured for this sensor's calibration.

Installation and ECU calibration

Physical installation alone does not configure the ECU for the 4 bar pressure range. Have your tuner check sensor scaling and operation before using the vehicle under boost.
