The OMNI Power MAP-K-3BR 3 Bar MAP Sensor provides manifold pressure data for compatible Honda/Acura K-Series and first-generation Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S and Toyota 86 applications. Its linear 0-5V output supports engine-management setups configured for this 3 bar sensor.
Pressure sensing for your engine-management setup
A MAP sensor measures intake manifold pressure so the ECU can use that information when calculating fuel delivery and ignition timing. OMNI Power's silicon pressure sensor provides automatic temperature compensation to account for changes in operating temperature.
The design uses bipolar operational-amplifier circuitry and thin-film resistor networks. The 3 bar rating refers to absolute pressure, including atmospheric pressure.

Installation and ECU calibration
ECU calibration is required. Confirm your ECU or tuning solution supports custom MAP sensor scaling, and use calibration specific to the MAP-K-3BR 3 bar sensor. Physical installation does not configure the ECU for a different pressure rating. Have your tuner verify sensor scaling before operating the vehicle under boost.
