Motul Gear Competition 75W-140 is a synthetic ester-based racing transmission lubricant developed for high-performance gearboxes, hypoid differentials, and limited-slip differential systems operating under severe loads.

It is suitable for compatible synchronized and non-synchronized manual transmissions, gearboxes with integrated limited-slip differentials, transfer cases, and hypoid axles exposed to shock loads, high torque, elevated temperatures, or high rotational speeds.

The SAE 75W-140 viscosity provides a strong lubricating film at high operating temperatures while retaining low-temperature fluidity for easier shifting when the transmission is cold.

This package includes one 20-liter pail for race teams, performance workshops, differential specialists, and professional transmission-service applications.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY NOTE:

Use only where SAE 75W-140 and API GL-5 gear oil are permitted.

The API classification and viscosity grade do not make this lubricant suitable for every gearbox, transfer case, or differential. Verify the required viscosity, GL classification, limited-slip design, friction requirements, oil capacity, and service interval before use.

Some synchronized manual transmissions require API GL-4 rather than GL-5 fluid. Confirm compatibility with the exact transmission before filling.

Do not use in automatic transmissions, continuously variable transmissions, dual-clutch transmissions, or systems requiring ATF or another specialized fluid.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Follow the transmission or differential manufacturer’s specified drain interval and adjust it for racing, high temperatures, towing, shock loading, water exposure, or other severe operating conditions.

Some limited-slip differentials require a proprietary lubricant or separate friction modifier. Confirm the differential manufacturer’s requirements before use.

A complete drain and refill is preferred when changing from another lubricant type.

Fill only to the manufacturer’s specified level. Incorrect fluid level may cause overheating, foaming, leakage, or drivetrain damage.

Store the pail tightly closed in a clean, dry area protected from moisture and contamination.
