Motul DOT 4 LV is a 100% synthetic long-life, low-viscosity brake and clutch fluid specifically developed for modern hydraulic braking systems requiring rapid fluid circulation and precise response.
Its Low Viscosity (LV) formulation is especially suited for vehicles equipped with ABS, ESP, and ASR electronic braking and stability-control systems, helping the fluid circulate rapidly through small hydraulic valves even at very low temperatures.
With a high 267°C / 512.6°F dry boiling point and 172°C / 341.6°F wet boiling point, Motul DOT 4 LV provides dependable braking performance under demanding temperature conditions.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
Motul DOT 4 LV is designed for hydraulic brake and clutch systems requiring a compatible DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1 non-silicone, or ISO 4925 Class 6 fluid.
It can be mixed with compatible DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 non-silicone brake fluids.
Always confirm the brake-fluid specification listed in the vehicle owner's manual or service documentation before use.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Do not mix with silicone-based DOT 5 brake fluid.
Do not mix with mineral-based hydraulic fluids such as LHM.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. Keep containers tightly sealed when not in use.
Recommended replacement interval is generally 12 to 24 months, subject to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendation.
Brake fluid may damage painted or varnished surfaces. Clean spills immediately and follow all product safety instructions.
