Motul 90 PA SAE 90 Mineral Limited-Slip Differential Gear Oil 60L Drum
Motul 90 PA is a mineral extreme-pressure differential lubricant specially formulated for limited-slip differentials, also known as LSD or LS differentials.
It is suitable for compatible hypoid differentials with or without a limited-slip system operating under shock loads, heavy loads at low rotational speeds, or moderate loads at high rotational speeds. Typical applications include racing vehicles, passenger cars, 4WD, AWD and 4x4 vehicles, forestry machinery, and construction equipment.
Its dedicated friction characteristics help reduce limited-slip differential noise, grabbing, chatter, and slip-stick behavior while maintaining strong gear and bearing protection.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
Use only in differentials requiring a compatible SAE 90 mineral gear oil with API GL-4, API GL-5, or MIL-L-2105D performance.
The listed standards do not make this lubricant suitable for every differential. Verify the required viscosity, GL classification, limited-slip design, friction requirements, oil capacity, and service interval before use.
For BMW rear axles equipped with limited-slip differentials, use the specific lubricant required for that axle. Motul identifies HYPO SYNT LS 75W-140 as the appropriate alternative for those applications.
Do not use in automatic transmissions, continuously variable transmissions, dual-clutch transmissions, or systems requiring ATF.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Follow the axle or differential manufacturer’s specified drain interval and adjust it for racing, towing, severe off-road use, water exposure, heavy loads, and elevated temperatures.
Some limited-slip differentials require a proprietary lubricant or specific friction characteristics. Confirm compatibility before filling.
A complete drain and refill is preferred when changing from another lubricant type.
Fill only to the manufacturer’s specified level. Incorrect fluid level can cause overheating, leakage, foaming, or component damage.
