Motul 8100 X-CLEAN 5W-40 is a 100% synthetic high-performance engine oil developed for modern gasoline and diesel engines requiring an ACEA C3 Mid-SAPS lubricant.

Designed for compatible naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines using direct or indirect injection, it provides strong oil-film resistance, wear protection, oxidation stability, and high-temperature performance.

Its Mid-SAPS formulation uses controlled levels of sulfated ash, phosphorus, and sulfur to support modern exhaust after-treatment systems while maintaining reliable engine protection.

Motul 8100 X-CLEAN 5W-40 is compatible with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and catalytic converters when the vehicle requires the applicable viscosity and specifications.

It is also suitable for compatible vehicles using LPG or CNG where an ACEA C3 and SAE 5W-40 lubricant is required.
