Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen2 5W-40 is a high-performance 100% synthetic engine oil developed for powerful modern gasoline and diesel vehicles with naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines and indirect or direct fuel injection.

Its ACEA A3/B4 high-HTHS formulation provides strong oil-film protection, thermal stability, detergent performance, and resistance to viscosity increase caused by soot. It is suitable for compatible engines requiring API SQ, BMW Longlife-01, Mercedes-Benz MB 229.5, Porsche A40, Renault RN0700/RN0710, or Volkswagen 502 00/505 00 performance.

This is a full-SAPS engine oil and may not be suitable for vehicles requiring a low- or mid-SAPS oil such as ACEA C2, C3, C4, C5, or C6.

It is not a substitute for applications specifically requiring BMW Longlife-04, Mercedes-Benz MB 229.51/229.52, Porsche C20/C30/C40, Volkswagen 504 00/507 00, or Volkswagen 505 01 unless an alternative is expressly permitted by the manufacturer.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s specified oil-change interval and adjust it for operating conditions, fuel dilution, track use, frequent short trips, extended idling, or severe service.

This lubricant can be mixed with compatible synthetic or mineral engine oils, but a complete oil and filter change is preferred when changing products.
