Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax is a carnauba-polymer hybrid paint sealant known for its high gloss shine, easy on, easy off application, and long-lasting weather protection. Your EDO listing already positions it well as Collinite’s #1 selling, most talked about product, and Collinite’s official page highlights 4-7 months of weather protection with strong resistance against UV, rain, snow, salt, dust, dirt, grime, bugs, and staining. This version includes one 16 fl oz / 1 pint bottle plus a microfiber towel.

Why buyers love it:

  • Easy on, easy off application with minimal buffing required.

  • Delivers high gloss shine with 4-7 months of weather protection.

  • A user-friendlier alternative to Collinite 476s for buyers who want speed and durability together.

  • Works for hand or DA use, with Collinite noting best spread by DA polisher.

Safe for gel coat, fiberglass, clear coat, single stage and lacquer paints, highly finished wood, and clean painted or unpainted metals.

  • Includes a microfiber towel for easier application and wipe-off.

How to use:
Shake well before use. The surface should be clean, dry, and lukewarm to the touch. Apply a thin, even coat to one 2 x 2 ft section at a time with an applicator pad. Once the wax begins to dry or haze, polish it off with a dry microfiber towel or soft cotton towel. Collinite notes that 845 should be applied very thin, and its FAQ also confirms it can be used by hand or with a DA polisher. Always test first on a small, inconspicuous area.

Important notes: Not recommended for rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass, or non-painted plastic. 845 can be layered, wait at least 12 hours between coats, and it has been used successfully over ceramic coatings and paint protection film (PPF).
