Snow Performance is one of the leading names in water-methanol injection systems for turbocharged, supercharged, diesel, and high-performance applications. Their Boost Cooler systems are designed to reduce intake air temperatures, improve knock resistance, and support more consistent power when properly installed and tuned.

At EDO Performance, we offer Snow Performance water-methanol injection kits, Boost Cooler systems, nozzles, reservoirs, pumps, controllers, Boost Juice, and accessories for enthusiasts who want more control over heat, boost, and power delivery. Whether you are building a turbo BMW, Ford EcoBoost, supercharged Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, or diesel truck, our team can help you choose the right Snow Performance setup for your vehicle.

For Southern California customers, EDO Performance can also help with technical consultation and local installation planning from our Stanton, Orange County facility.

Why Choose Snow Performance?

Snow Performance water-methanol injection systems help performance vehicles manage heat under boost. By injecting a controlled water-methanol mixture into the intake tract, these systems can cool the air charge and reduce detonation risk. Snow’s Stage 2 Boost Cooler system, for example, uses a progressive controller with a MAP sensor so injection increases with boost demand instead of operating like a simple on/off spray system.

This makes Snow Performance a popular upgrade for turbocharged and supercharged vehicles where intake temperature, knock resistance, and tuning consistency matter.

Snow Performance systems are commonly used on forced-induction vehicles, including turbocharged and supercharged platforms. Some Stage 2-style systems are specifically marketed for forced-induction applications and use progressive boost-based control.

Snow Performance for Turbocharged and Supercharged Cars

Water-methanol injection is especially useful for vehicles that generate high intake temperatures under boost. This includes many modern performance platforms:

BMW turbo engines, Ford EcoBoost, Mustang GT and Shelby builds, Corvette and Camaro supercharged setups, Subaru WRX and STI, Mitsubishi Evo, Porsche turbo platforms, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, Volkswagen, MINI, and diesel trucks.

For customers chasing more reliable performance, Snow Performance can be part of a larger upgrade path that includes tuning, intercooling, fuel system planning, turbo upgrades, supercharger upgrades, and engine protection.

FAQs

What does a Snow Performance water-methanol injection kit do?

A Snow Performance water-methanol injection kit sprays a controlled mixture into the intake system to help cool the charge air, improve knock resistance, and support more consistent power under boost.

Is Snow Performance only for turbo cars?

No. Snow Performance kits are commonly used on turbocharged, supercharged, diesel, and other high-performance applications. The correct kit depends on the vehicle, power level, and tuning strategy.

Which Snow Performance kit should I buy?

It depends on your vehicle and goals. Stage 2-style systems are popular for many forced-induction vehicles because they use progressive boost-based control. More advanced setups may be better for direct-injection or higher-power builds. Contact EDO Performance if you need help choosing the right kit.

Does water-methanol injection add horsepower?

It can support more power when installed and tuned correctly. The biggest benefits are cooler intake temperatures, better knock resistance, and more tuning headroom. Results depend on the vehicle, kit, installation, fuel, boost level, and tuning.

Can EDO Performance install Snow Performance kits?

EDO Performance can help Southern California customers with technical guidance and local installation planning at our Stanton, Orange County facility. Contact us before ordering if you want help selecting the correct kit.

Is Snow Performance legal for street use in California?

Some water-methanol injection products may not be legal for use on public roads in California or states with similar emissions rules. Always verify legality and intended use before purchase.

Important note: Some Snow Performance products may be intended for racing, competition, or off-road use only and may not be legal for use on public roads in California or other emissions-regulated states.
