If you’re running a performance build, a weak battery is a self-inflicted problem. CTEK chargers are microprocessor-controlled and built to charge, recover, and maintain batteries correctly—not cook them. The result: stronger starts, longer battery life, and stable voltage when your car actually matters (track days, storage, tuning, ECU work).

We work directly with CTEK, stock popular models, and can help you choose the right setup—especially if you’re pairing a Tomioka Racing Battery for racing applications.

Why CTEK

Smarter charging = fewer dead batteries (automatic programs vs. “dumb” trickle charging)
Stable voltage when you need it (great for diagnostics, flashing, and shop work with PRO units)
Set it and forget it maintenance (many models use an 8-step approach for battery care)
Works with modern battery types (including lithium support on PRO units; dedicated lithium models exist)

Best-selling CTEK picks

For most street + weekend track cars (12V lead-acid/AGM)

CTEK MXS 5.0 — fast, versatile consumer charger/maintainer with an 8-step approach and temp sensor.

For “no-thought” charging + app control

CTEK CS ONE (Gen 2) — polarity-free design with APTO™ adaptive charging + Wi-Fi/Bluetooth app features.

For shop/race program support (battery charging + power supply)

CTEK PRO25S / PRO25SE — pro-grade charging and power supply capability; designed for automotive professionals and compatible with 12V batteries including lithium*.

If your Tomioka Racing Battery is Lithium (LiFePO4)

CTEK LITHIUM XS — specifically designed for 12V LiFePO4; charges and maintains lithium batteries (CTEK cites charge range and maintenance capability).

*Important reality check: don’t guess battery chemistry. If the Tomioka Racing Battery you’re using is LiFePO4, use a lithium-capable charger (like LITHIUM XS or a PRO unit that supports lithium modes).

“Best paired with Tomioka Racing Battery”

Tomioka Racing Battery = lightweight performance. CTEK = correct charging + clean maintenance.
That combination is what keeps a racing setup from turning into a no-start headache.

Track weekend: top off + maintain between sessions so starts stay consistent
Storage: maintenance mode keeps the battery ready without overcharging
Dyno / tuning / flashing: PRO series power support helps hold steady voltage during work

FAQ

Which CTEK charger is best for a track car?
If you want max simplicity: CS ONE (Gen 2). If you want workshop-level battery support: PRO25S/PRO25SE.
Can I use CTEK with lithium batteries?
Yes—but use a lithium-capable model. LITHIUM XS is designed for 12V LiFePO4, and PRO units support lithium*.
Is MXS 5.0 good enough for most builds?
For typical 12V street/track cars using lead-acid/AGM, MXS 5.0 is a strong all-around charger/maintainer.
What’s the benefit of APTO / polarity-free charging?
CS ONE automatically adapts charging and is designed so you don’t stress about clamp polarity.
Why pair CTEK with Tomioka Racing Battery?
Because racing batteries need correct charging and maintenance—CTEK handles charging/maintaining properly so the battery stays strong.
