This combo pairs Collinite 520 Post Haste Quick Detailer with Collinite 845 Insulator Wax for a simple wash-and-maintain setup that gives buyers both durable paint protection and an easy way to keep the finish looking freshly detailed between full wax applications. Your EDO listing confirms the kit includes 1x Collinite 520 Post Haste Quick Detailer and 1x Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. Collinite positions 520 as a quick exterior detailer that adds high-gloss shine, hydrophobic beading, and light-cleaning ability between washes, while 845 is its legendary carnauba-polymer hybrid paint sealant known for high gloss shine and 4-7 months of weather protection.

Why buyers love it:

  • Combines a durable base wax with a fast maintenance detailer in one bundle.

  • 845 Insulator Wax delivers high gloss shine with 4-7 months of weather protection.

  • 520 Quick Detailer adds hydrophobic beading, deepens color, and helps remove light water spots, fingerprints, smudges, dust, droppings, and car wash residue.

  • 520 is specifically recommended by Collinite as a good maintenance option over an existing coat of 845 when light cleaning is the goal.

  • 845 can be used by hand or with a DA polisher, making it friendly for both DIY users and detailers.

  • Great for buyers who want long-lasting protection plus an easy between-wash gloss booster.

How to use:
Start with 845 Insulator Wax on a clean, cool surface. Apply a thin coat one section at a time, either by hand or with a DA polisher, then remove with a microfiber towel. Collinite notes that less is more with 845 and that a thin layer gives easier wipe-off and strong results. After the base wax is in place, use 520 Quick Detailer for quick touch-ups between washes. Shake well, work in small sections, and use a 2 microfiber towel process for best results. Always test first in a small, inconspicuous area.

Important notes:
Use 520 on exterior non-matte paint, wheels, and trim only. Do not use it on heavily soiled surfaces in place of a proper wash. For 845, apply in thin coats and avoid rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass, and non-painted plastic. 845 is commonly used by detailers as a topper over ceramic coatings and has been tested successfully on PPF.
