How to use:
Start with 845 Insulator Wax on a clean, cool surface. Apply a thin coat one section at a time, either by hand or with a DA polisher, then remove with the included microfiber towel or another clean microfiber towel. Collinite notes that less is more with 845, and thin application gives easier wipe-off and strong results. After the base wax is in place, use 520 Quick Detailer for quick touch-ups between washes. Work in small sections, avoid hot surfaces and extreme temperatures, and do not use 520 on heavily soiled surfaces in place of a proper wash. Always test first in a small, inconspicuous area.
Important notes:
Use 520 on exterior non-matte paint, wheels, and trim only. Do not use it on rubber, vinyl, glass, matte paint, or interior surfaces. For 845, avoid rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass, and non-painted plastic. Collinite also notes that 845 is commonly used as a topper over ceramic coatings and has been tested successfully on PPF.
