TR Carbon-Look Hood Dampers – Vehicle-Specific Gas Strut Kits
Make room for routine maintenance, inspections and detailing. Tomioka Racing hood dampers use a pair of gas struts to support the hood and keep the factory prop rod out of your working area. The carbon-look finish adds a coordinated engine-bay appearance.

Installation and hood compatibility
Follow the instructions supplied with your vehicle-specific kit. Mounting details, clearances and hood opening angle depend on the application. Securely support the hood during installation and check clearance through its opening and closing travel before use.
If your vehicle has an aftermarket hood, modified hinges or other changes around the mounting points, confirm compatibility before ordering. Do not assume that a kit for the factory hood is suitable for a lighter carbon-fiber or fiberglass hood.
