GrimmSpeed Performance Parts for Subaru
In 2002, Justin Grimm developed his passion for Subaru, often taking cars apart and finding ways to improve their performance. As his passion grew, he decided to turn it into a business, especially when he realized there was a market for aftermarket performance parts.
Initially housed in a single stall garage in Maplewood, Minnesota, GrimmSpeed was founded in 2006 by Justin Grimm and a group of Subaru enthusiasts. Initially, the focus was solely on producing aftermarket parts for Subaru vehicles. As the company grew, they expanded into other brands such as Ford, Mitsubishi, Lexus & Scion.
Parts like the GrimmSpeed Boost Control Solenoid (for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X) lives up to the high-quality reputation that GrimmSpeed is known for. It is designed to work with the vehicle’s factory computer. Because it draws the same amount of power as the factory computer, it does not reduce the computer’s life. Installation is easy and requires no splicing or soldering of resistors. As easy as it is to install, is as easy as it is to remove in the event that you would return the car to its stock specifications.
Another noteworthy part to mention is the GrimmSpeed Up Pipe All Turbo (For Subaru). Making this addition to your Subaru is highly recommended, it is arguably one of the best cash to horsepower ratios. The Up-Pipe All Turbo has a premium heavy-duty construction, which was fabricated by a welder certified in Aerospace Welding. This simply means this part can definitely handle some abuse. After installation, you can generally expect to see an increase of about 8-10 horsepower and a quicker spool up of about 300-400 rpm.-
