BMC High Performance Air Filters

BMC high performance air filters are designed for drivers who want improved airflow without sacrificing engine protection. This collection includes BMC drop-in replacement (panel/cylindrical) filters for factory airboxes and select performance intake-style filters—covering a wide range of European, Japanese, and exotic applications.

Why BMC

Increased airflow + efficient filtration: BMC replacement filters are engineered to increase airflow while maintaining effective filtration (BMC cites containment of impurities as small as 7 microns on many applications).

“Full Moulding” construction: the red filter frame is produced as a single mould with no welded joints, helping reduce breakage risk and improving long-term sealing.

Washable & reusable: BMC filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated with the appropriate cleaning/regeneration kit.

Are BMC air filters washable and reusable?

Yes—BMC filters are pre-oiled and designed to be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.

Do BMC filters increase horsepower?

They can improve airflow and throttle response versus a restrictive or dirty OEM filter. Results depend on the vehicle, intake design, and overall setup.

Drop-in panel filter vs intake-style filter—what’s the difference?

Drop-in (panel/cylindrical) filters replace the OEM filter inside the factory airbox. Intake-style filters are for certain performance intake systems and require correct sizing and fitment.

How often should I clean and re-oil my BMC filter?

BMC suggests a rough regeneration interval of 20,000–25,000 km, but it varies with dust, climate, and usage.
