Motul Gear Power 75W-80 Synthetic Manual Transmission Gear Oil 1 Liter
Motul Gear Power 75W-80 is a 100% synthetic manual transmission lubricant formulated for synchronized and non-synchronized gearboxes, transaxles, axles, and transfer cases without limited-slip differentials that require SAE 75W-80 and API GL-4 performance.
Its low-temperature fluidity supports easier cold shifting, while its high-temperature viscosity stability maintains protection under heavy loads, low-speed operation, and moderate loads at higher speeds. The formula is also suitable for certain transmissions experiencing difficult or noisy gear engagement when the required specification matches.
WHY THIS GEAR OIL:
The 100% synthetic formulation uses Extreme Pressure additives to protect transmission components against wear while improving resistance to elevated operating temperatures.
Strong shear stability allows the lubricant to remain within SAE viscosity grade 80 after the KRL 20-hour shear test required by SAE J306.
High lubricating performance helps reduce internal friction and gearbox drag, while excellent cold-temperature fluidity promotes smoother and easier gear engagement during startup.
The formula also provides anti-corrosion and anti-foam protection and is compatible with common seals and materials used in manual transmissions.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
Use only in manual transmissions, transaxles, axles, or transfer cases that specifically require SAE 75W-80 and API GL-4 gear oil.
Some manual transmissions are not designed for low-viscosity 75W-80 lubricants. Always verify the required viscosity, GL classification, and manufacturer specification in the vehicle owner’s manual or service documentation before use.
This product is not intended for limited-slip differentials unless the application separately confirms compatibility.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Do not substitute API GL-5 gear oil where the transmission specifically requires API GL-4 unless the vehicle manufacturer permits it.
Transmission drain intervals should follow the vehicle manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and should be adjusted for operating conditions and vehicle use.
Do not select transmission lubricant solely by vehicle make or model. Confirm the exact gearbox specification before filling.
